Frequently asked questions
How many pickleball venues are there in the UK?
Around 1,000 UK venues offered pickleball as of early 2026, according to Pickleball England growth figures. Most are leisure-centre sessions on converted badminton courts. We add locations here once their sessions and prices have been verified.
How much does pickleball cost in the UK?
Typical leisure-centre sessions cost £4–£8 per person for two hours. Dedicated centres charge more (often £10–£15 per court per hour, split between players), and many community clubs run cheap or free taster sessions.
Do I need my own paddle and balls?
Usually not to start: most club sessions lend paddles free or for a small hire fee, and each venue page says whether equipment is provided. When you are ready to buy, decent first paddles start around £30–£50 in the UK.
How do I get a court or club listed?
Use the “Add a court” form. Tell us the venue, sessions and prices. We verify every submission against the venue before it goes live, so listings stay accurate.
